Mission Projects:

During the 2020 calendar year our mission dollars each month will be divided between the Infant and Toddler Pantry and the designated Mission of the month.

THE NOVEMBER MONTHLY MISSION PROJECT is The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund. This amazing program gives scholarships to deserving high school seniors for academic achievement and exemplary volunteer service. Our church supports this effort and always encourages our members to attend the awards breakfast in January. This coming January, unlike other years, the breakfast will be challenged by the COVID-19 virus. We will be having a social distanced breakfast on January 11th in our Fellowship Hall. Information and tickets will be available soon. Half of the Mission Offering in November will support the MLK program and half will support our own Infant and Toddler Pantry.

                                                                    -- ALSO --

In partnership with Love INC (In the Name of Christ), we are supporting "The Rock" at Belleview Middle School, Belleview High School and Lake Weir High School which gives students a place to get needed clothing, food, and other items. There are many needy families in our area and this ministry helps reach some of those families and form relationships. To help keep "The Rock" stocked with items for the students, we will have an ongoing need for the items below. They can be brought to our church (container in Narthex) or Love INC's Donation Center.
  • Cereal/Snack Bars
  • Youth Size Clothing - Youth L - Adult L
  • Shoes - All Sizes
  • Fruit Cups
  • School Supplies - Spiral Notebooks, College-Ruled Paper
