“Celebration of Life”

Passage: Mark 15:46-47 and 16:1-8
Service Type:

Often when we remember a loved one's life it is the past events or accomplishments we discuss.  However, our faith calls us to look forward and celebrate the promise of the life that is ahead for both the living and those who have physically passed on. It is the resurrection that seals the deal and propels us forward into places Christ has prepared for us.  Easter calls us not to look back into the dark tomb or the difficulties of life, but to break forth into a power and light that is pure joy.  Because He lives we too shall live.  Celebrate what is yet to be.  Easter promises that the best is yet to come.
