“Facing Your Failures”

Passage: Psalm 30
Service Type:

Most people are sure they can handle whatever comes their way.  They think they know what to expect and that they are ready.  Often true, unless we did not join the Lord in prayer and set a sentinel to guard our soul’s most vulnerable parts.  Those areas of vulnerability is where the Devil strikes.  When we fall to temptation there is no avoiding the “bitter aftertaste”.  God has a way of laying bare our failures for all the world to see.  Peter thought he could hide his failure until the rooster crowed. There is a good news side to our struggles with failure and disappointment.  If we will live and believe that it is all about Him and confess our failure He never gives up on His disciples.  He is with them always – in spite of their shortcomings.
