Thomas Kinkade produced many simple yet inspirational paintings during his lifetime. The Forest Chapel is a grand example of the illustrations that took us to special places and filled the imagination with a desire to visit the places that only existed in Kinkade's mind. On Mother's Day it would be idyllic to take a walk through this beautiful scene surrounded by flowers, with the bubbling stream flowing out of a nearby lake, and standing gazing at the light coming from the stained glass of the little chapel. Almost every Mom would love such a place. Troubled as he was in the later years of his life Kinkade was blessed at the moment he produced this painting with a vision that brings us a place to touch memory.
