“Grateful At The Table”
When we partake of the Lord's Supper and hold the sacred elements in our hands we should be gripped with a feeling of extreme gratitude. When we break the bread we are reminded of our Savior's humanity. When we lift the cup to our lips we must thank God for Jesus' substitutionary and sacrificial death on the cross for us. The gift of hope and eternal life are woven through the Holy Communion and the thread is the love of the Father. In order for us to fully experience the power of the passion of Christ and this holy season we must make time to receive the sacrament and to be "Grateful At The Table" of our Lord
