The old hymn states, "Like a mighty army moves the Church of God; Christians we are treading where the saints have trod. We are not divided, all one body we: one in hope and doctrine, one in charity." Veterans Day reminds us of the oneness and bond that is created among those who serve together with a common purpose in the military. Walls of class, race or status are broken down in the commitment to service and upholding one another. Victory is won only when we come together with a common goal for the good of all.
