Sometimes we complain to God that our lives have changed, that a loved one has died, that our world seems to have turned upside down.  Think of how blessed we are to have the memories.  To be able to close our eyes and revisit those who have gone on to be with the Lord through the gift of memory.  To shut out the present world for a moment and stroll down the main street of our home town one more time in our memory bank.  To climb up on Grandma's lap and hear a story one more time – if only in our mind.  Fill your mind and heart with God's word and you can sit beside the Savior and hear Him tell you Bible stories and take you to places your mind could never dream of by His Spirit.
