“Our Nasty World Needs a Little Kindness”
The gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Boy Scout Law all direct human kind to show kindness to one another. Kindness is described as love in action. When you practice the art of kindness you are not merely being emotional it is a practical and visible way of changing a life. In a world (2 Timothy 3:2-4) where men and women can be lovers of self, arrogant, ungrateful to parents, gossips, unreasonable and brutal KINDNESS will always be greatly needed. Kindness will be like a breath of fresh air. Solomon wrote "Do not let kindness and truth leave you, bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart" (Proverbs 3:3). Do not put off the opportunity to do a kindness for someone today. "A common enemy of kindness is busyness."
