There are times when we are sure that God is leading us to accomplish a certain task or reach a desired goal.  It doesn't always come as quickly as we would like and we need a full measure of the gift of the Holy Spirit called "Patience" in order to allow the Father to have his way.  The Word tells us "do your task heartily, as to the Lord" (Col. 3:23).  If you think of it as either directly or indirectly doing it for God or in service to Christ, the hours will slip by swiftly.  Your work will not be a drag caused by impatience – but a delight!
