“The Master’s Touch”

Preacher:
Series:
Passage: Mark 1:35-45

Jesus was constantly touching the "untouchables" of his day.  Children were not given much value in his culture.  Herod thought nothing of killing massive numbers of children. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them".  Jesus loved the little children.  The religious laws said it would make you unclean to touch a dead person or walk through a cemetery. Jesus raised the dead.  Touching a leper would defile you.  Moses and Elisha healed lepers but they did not touch them.  Jesus touched, healed and loved the leper into the kingdom.  The Master's touch conveyed the power of God and healing.  "He went about doing good, and healing" (Acts 10:38).
