Today's message is by Rev. Mark Nelsen.  Mark Nelsen grew up in Central Florida. After graduating college from UF he moved to Nevada to work as a Cowboy. He cowboyed for 10 years working on large ranches from California to Florida. Six years ago in Florida he met his lovely wife Charlotte and got married in eight months. They have three children, Hannah (5), Chloe (4), and David (2).

Mark started teaching bible studies and small groups at First Presbyterian Church in Lake Placid soon after moving there seven years ago. During the process of teaching and discipling, he discerned a call to the ministry and it was confirmed by the elders of the Church. Mark started an online education with RTS soon after.

Due to the normal wear and tear of cowboying, Mark had to have minor back surgery in April of 2022 which God used to move him back to Orlando, jump into seminary full time. After graduating from Reformed Theological Seminary in May of 2023, He is being sent by the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church to plant a Church in Chuluota, FL. They are in the process of moving to Chuluota and gathering people for the start of the Church plant.
